Intellectual Property & NFT Rights
- User Content Ownership
Users retain full ownership of the original content they create and upload to TriWrite. By submitting content, users grant TriWrite a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and revocable license to use, display, distribute, and adapt the content solely for platform functionality, community engagement, and promotional purposes. This license does not transfer ownership and may be withdrawn by the user with reasonable notice, subject to any ongoing platform use or NFT-related commitments.
- NFT Minting Rights
TriWrite may mint, list, and manage the sale of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) representing user-submitted content that achieves “Treasure” status (defined as receiving 1,000 or more verified 5-star reviews). TriWrite will ensure proper attribution, quality control, and equitable revenue distribution. Users will be notified prior to minting and may opt out of NFT creation by written request, unless they have previously agreed to participate.
- Prohibited Use
Users may not mint, tokenize, or commercially exploit any content from TriWrite outside the platform without explicit written consent from both TriWrite and the original content creator(s). Unauthorized use may result in account suspension and may be subject to legal action under applicable intellectual property laws in Hong Kong.
- Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding authorship or contribution, TriWrite will review platform activity logs and contribution history. TriWrite will make a determination based on available evidence. While TriWrite’s decision will be final within the platform, users retain the right to pursue independent legal remedies under Hong Kong law.
- Revenue Distribution
Proceeds from NFT sales will be distributed as follows:
- 50% to the lead author
- 20% to verified contributors (editors/reviewers)
- 30% to TriWrite for platform operations and curation
All revenue shares will be subject to applicable taxes and reporting obligations under Hong Kong law.
